ABOUT BLOGJANGLES:
In August 2005, in a little house on the outskirts of Washington, D.C., Blogjangles sat at his desk wondering where can one find a blog complete with all the truly wonderful things in the world? Those things of course being: music, Chicken ‘n Biscuits, and random pop culture gems. Poof! Blogjangles was born.
Readers followed Blogjangles as he reported on the music scene of Washington, D.C., his travels, and whatever he found lying around like car parts, bottles and cutlery. Blogjangles tracked his favorite bands through various venues including the 9:30, D.A.R Constitutional Hall, Black Cat, etc. He traveled to shows and festivals including Austin City Limits, SXSW, Coachella…
In addition to its reputation for being a source of gotta-have-it music, Blogjangles has always sought to bring its readers interesting tidbits of pop culture from the famous and the not-so-famous world. (who can forget the vending machine challenge?)
Blogjangles was deleted on a whim in February 2008 only to come back four months later in its new, and FANTASTICALLY improved form. He waited Four Months because that’s his favorite song by Okkervil River. It is now hosted by GoDaddy and is a hacked up Wordpress theme based off the awesome Cutline Theme for WordPress. We’re even iPhone optimized. Check it.
Blogjangles looks forward to reporting on the music scene in his new home in San Francisco, where he moved in August 2007. He even bought tickets to shows before he knew he was officially moving west. So, check back frequently for reports from the Independent, the Greek Theater, the Fillmore, Slim’s, BotH, Bimbo’s, etc.
And don’t worry! We didn’t forget about the tasty fixin’s! If there’s one thing this North Carolina boy knows, it’s that everything is better with a fresh, pipin’ hot, buttery biscuit (even in California). Thus, Blogjangles will continue to fill its readers up with sides of pop culture, and other tasty tidbits.
It’s okay to be a wandering southerner in Northern California, thus Blogjangles is here to stay.
See you at the shows.

ABOUT THE AUTHOR:
Blogjangles was born and raised in Charlotte, NC, lived in Washington, D.C. for a while, and currently resides in San Francisco. He graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a degree in Journalism and Mass Communication (grammar!?). If you can’t find him, he’s probably at a concert, running faster than you in Golden Gate Park, watching college basketball at a bar, not eating his vegetables, or trying to find the perfect song to enjoy while sitting on 280 or 101 or 80 or 35 or 380 or Skyline or in the fog.

Hey,
I found you via YouTube where I see that you’re a huge Album Leaf fan. I’m trying to find out the correct pronunciation of the song “Thule”. Is it too-LAY? too-LEE? Something else? I work at an independent radio station and I need to know so our jocks don’t mispronounce it when it’s played. If you know with 100% certainty, I’d appreciate if you could send me a quick note back and let me know.
Thanks!

(too-LEE). Well, that’s how I pronounce the car rack company of the same spelling.
